I did this last weekend in New Hampshire. It's a gorge that was formed during the last ice age by the glaciers. The whole gorge is filled with boulders which you can climb between, some were way to small for me to fit between. There's a river that flows through the gorge and you can see it all from a boardwalk which goes through the whole thing.

This is a trail I decided to do after the gorge. It was more of a scramble up the mountainside than a hike through the woods. It was a bunch of fun though
